UNESCO has ranked Bagan as world heritage site on 6th July 2019 in UNESCO world Heritage Committee’s 43rd session held in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. Bagan is also known as the ancient city which is situated in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar on the bank of the Ayeyarwady river.
